Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a 4 * property in Guernsey.
The ideal candidate would have a strong background in French cuisine and be able to manage a brigade of up to 10 people.
You will also need to be experienced in controlling food costs, managing kitchen hygiene standards as well as motivate the team through structured training.
The Hotel has two restaurants and 5 function rooms. One is a 2AA Rosette fine dining restaurant and the other is an informal French style Brassiere, both produce top quality food from fresh ingredients.
Good balance of creative and organisation skills is required as you would need to manage conference and banqueting for up to 250 covers.
